What body shop services do you provide?

CSM body shops handle the full range from cosmetic and accessory work through to structural repair, including collision repair, panel and cab work, refinishing, accessory installation and frame straightening. The same PACCAR-certified standards applied in our service bays apply on the body side.

What is frame straightening and when is it needed?

Frame straightening returns a bent or twisted chassis rail to factory specification using hydraulic equipment and measured reference points. It is needed after a significant impact, or where symptoms such as uneven tire wear, dog-tracking or poor handling suggest the frame is out of alignment. Cost varies with severity, so an inspection comes first.

Do you work with insurance companies?

Yes, we regularly work with insurance companies on body work. Our estimators can document damage to the standard insurers require, which reduces back-and-forth on approval.

How long will my body shop repair take?

Turnaround depends on damage severity, parts availability and paint scheduling, so a bumper and panel repair may take days while structural work with a factory parts wait runs longer. You will get an assessment and estimated completion date after inspection.

Which CSM locations have a body shop?

Dedicated body shop work is carried out at four sites: Michigan Kenworth in Byron Center, Tampa Florida Kenworth and French Ellison Truck Center in Pharr and Corpus Christi. If you are just looking for some minor repairs, our other dealerships partner with local body shops to assist you as well.

Can you match fleet paint and fit accessories?

Yes. Our refinishing work covers fleet color matching so a repaired unit returns to the road consistent with the rest of your fleet, and accessory installation can be completed at the same time to avoid a second visit and a second period of downtime.
