Scott Arves joined the CSM Companies Board of Advisors in 2018. He brings 40+ years of knowledge and experience in the commercial truck industry. He was elected as a Company Director of Werner Enterprises in 2021.

Scott served as Director, President & CEO of Transport America for 10 years. Prior to that role, he spent 27 years with Schneider National, Inc., where he served as President of the Transportation Sector. In that capacity, he was responsible for all of Schneider’s trucking and intermodal business, which was a $3 billion business employing approximately 20,000 people.

He was a director of Commercial Vehicle Group (CVGI) for 14 years and a director of TFI International (TFII) for two years.

Scott received a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He currently serves on various boards throughout the industry.
