There’s an expansion well underway in Green Bay, Wisconsin. No, this time it’s not the Green Bay Packers adding to their Titletown district or adding another deck to Lambeau Field. Just beyond the reach of the tall shadow cast by the holy land of football stadiums sits Wisconsin Kenworth’s Green Bay branch.
A longstanding vital transportation support cog on McCarthy Way, the Kenworth dealership is adding a massive warehouse facility to meet a growing pool of customers. Measuring in at 6,000 square feet, the expanded capacity will enable more on-hand availability for all makes and models of class 6, class 7, and class 8 trucks.
The new portion of the Green Bay branch will feature five large windows to allow natural light into the facility, cutting energy consumption. An excellent design element of the expansion is an enhanced staging area with four loading bays, each with an independent overhead door.
Current renovations are the first expansion project for the facility since 2003, and general contractor Frontier Builders will drive the project.
The improved work environment isn’t limited to the expansion. There is also an ongoing effort to update the facility as a whole.

A side note to the outstanding work happening at Wisconsin Kenworth in the Green Bay area is the ongoing work outside the dealership. While burdensome in the near term, the crumbling roadway was in serious disrepair. Until Fall returns, please note an alternate route below…
DIRECTIONS TO THE GREEN BAY DEALERSHIP DURING CONSTRUCTION:
The best way to get to the dealership for both trucks and light vehicles will be to come in from Lombardi Avenue. From the West, off Lombardi, you can just come in on Bart Star Way and enter our back lot from Bart Star.
From the East, you will have to go up to Reggie White Way and then head South to Tony Canadeo Run to the East then to Bart Star and enter in our back lot.
If you are leaving our dealership and need to go North on Hwy 41 in a truck or light vehicle you need to exit our back lot on Bart Star. Then head West on Tony Canadeo Run to Reggie White Way out to Lombardi to Hwy 41.
If you are leaving the dealership and need to go South on Hwy 41, you will need to exit out of our back lot on Bart Star to Lombardi. Take Lombardi to the East and then Ashland to the South to Hwy 41.
